Call for Experts: PROFINET Security Ecosystem and Field Test for Ethernet-APL
APL , Security , PROFINET , PROFINET PA
Description:
The “PROFINET Security Field Test” AdHoc PG shall coordinate an interoperability field test for field device, switch, controller and DCS vendors that will help to identify issues in an early phase.
Besides the pure technical interoperability for products with integrated PROFINET security features, the cooperation with NAMUR is intended to investigate one of the biggest challenges of security: Usability for end users.
The Adhoc PG needs persons, that have the background knowledge of the new security features implemented in the prototypes and will coordinate the contribution of prototypes to the field test within their companies.
